Using Apple’s iWeb? Don't subscribe to .Mac, or want to publish your web pages to a “real” web host, maybe with your own domain name? Transmit makes it dead simple to publish your iWeb files to any web host — and FTP server — in the world. Check it out!

  1. In iWeb, publish your finished files to a folder.
Just select “Publish to a Folder…”, and choose your output folder.

  3. Set “Your Stuff” to where you published your iWeb files.
Just like in the Finder. Open the output folder you specified in Step 1!

Note: the company that hosts your web pages can tell you more about what connection settings to use, and where to upload your iWeb files so that they’re visible to the world.

Best of luck, enjoy iWeb, and thanks for using Transmit!
